Ratbat KO

I’m not a big fan of knock-offs (KO’s), but once in a while there is something you just can't let pass by. That's the thing with Masterpiece Ratbat. Ratbat was officially released on march the 23rd of 2013 with MP-13B Soundblaster. Just like Laserbeak accompanied Masterpiece Soundwave.

For me personally, Soundblaster is not that of an interesting figure. He looks too much like Soundwave and wasn't in the original G1 cartoon. Ratbat on the other hand is a character who was represent in the 1986 Movie and one of the original toy cassettes.

Until the KO release of Ratbat, it was fairly impossible to own just Masterpiece Ratbat without also buying Soundblaster. Just recently a KO came on the market. And it is highly demanded. When I read about it on the internet, I was afraid I was already too late to order him. But luckily I managed to purchase one through eBay for $20 (shipping included). He is also available on a couple of sites.

As I said earlier, I’m not that big of a fan of KO's. I try to keep my collection as legit as possible, but the chances that Takara will be releasing Ratbat without Soundblaster are very slim. This was for me the best option to own Masterpiece Ratbat.
