This and future installments are also posted on the Facebook group From the Vault - TF Showcase.
Some time ago, I was asked by my good friend Martin Sønderby Lund to be a guest writer for The Vault page. I want to share these articles also here on my blog since not everyone can read them on the Facebook group. So please enjoy.
For me, writing about G1 Transformers was inevitable. Being asked as a guest writer for The Vault is a great honor. Today I want to do sort of a follow-up to the recent French Hasbro Bradley product booklet post.
The French Transformer Fan Club. Or as it is called “Club Transformers” Part 1 of many!

Being from Europe, my interest lies in French Transformers releases. Specifically, the ones made in France by Ceji Revell. I am always on the hunt for more background information and new findings about this particular part of Transformers' history. Especially because there is not that much known about it. So lucky me that I stumbled on these amazing French pamphlets last year:
- Original envelope
- Club announcement
- Hasbro Bradley product booklet
- Megaplak register form
- Joining the club
- Club special offers
These are pamphlets for the French Transformers Fan Club. Of course, there was the S.T.A.R.S. Membership for Americans. But this one was unique because it was French only. To my knowledge, there is not much known about this French Fan Club. Yes, there is the Hasbro Bradley product booklet (see post on Facebook) and the little Megaplak pamphlet that was included with the French Ceji Transformers releases. Like the Insecticons, Soundwave, and Blitzwing. But this find was something different, something that I had never seen before.
Next part we will look at all the pamphlets in more detail.
Thanks for reading,
